are fuel tubings allowed, if so, what kind? i believe the catapult bots are using fuel tubings, so my guess is that i must be legal?

I am not sure what you mean by "fuel tubings". As per <R5>, the only legal parts are those from the VEX Robotics Design System, which does include pneumatic tubing. This pneumatic tubing can be seen here: http://www.vexrobotics.com/vex-robotics-pneumatic-parts.shtml
