just so you know, clicking the edit button allows you to change previous posts, instead of making more that are not necessary. also, i think teams might be biased in their opinions, thinking that theirs are better than others. also, you might want to add a description to each of the poll choices, to enable more people to vote, maybe even a picture.

I figured it wasn't curiosity, and if he had a more underlying question than just who the best scorers were, and I was curious as to why he wanted to know. Now I understand he just wanted to make a poll.

I just wanted to know your opinion well because 2024 im on that team we were
the #3 seed and i think 2160 was the best, they were our alliance partners :D

That's a very tough call. For sheer number of balls, its probably a tie between 1114 and 40. The other two teams aren't far behind.

Best scorer...hmm... that's really vague. Do you mean by how many points they scored, maybe the best way to get them into the goals. Could you expand on this a bit?

1114 is an FRC team.
Back on topic, by best scorer I think he means most points scored.

Well then, that's easy enough. Review the tapes (I know some people have recorded the points) and tell by the numbers.

FRC 1114 and FVC 1114 are both the same team, Simbotics from St Catharines, ON. Sponsored by GM Powertrain.
They have been the FVC Champions for the past 2 years.
Great team, great robots, great competitors, incredible people. Everyone should take the time to get to know them.

I think your overlooking some incredible scorers.
3053, 3649, VEXY things, and panterus (mexican team). Not to mention team overdrive 3179 and possibly SPAM 3228
Before 2007, I would have to say 1114 was the best scorer, having watched both tournements (connVEX and Ontario tourney). During the world tourney, I believe team 40 could slightly outscore 1114.

One of the problems with this is how you define the best scoring robot - is it the robot that numerically scored the most softballs throughout the competition (which could be checked by re-watching the footage, and is not debatable) or is it the robot which could have scored the most.
I say this because our team, and I am sure many others, played all of our Qualifying Matches to win with our opponent having the highest score possible. And then for the Elimination Matches we again played to win - not go all out on scoring - which often meant using our robot to pin or block access to the Atlas Ball.

I think that the syntax error teams were the best all around. for scoring i dont know, but they were able to score over 200 points when the two bots were together in a match.

I looked at a video of vexythings robot the arm was amazing but they need a better ball lifter/scorer because they dumped all the balls but droped 1 or 2 every dump.

what about team 3332 dr. michael krop. They scored pretty well, and if i recall they scored the HIGHEST rank points out of anyone (which means that the matches they did lose they scored very high and the matches they won their teammates scored very high)
