Whitney High School Robotics, VEX Robotics Team 542 presents their entry for the 2008-2009 VEX Robotics Design Challenge, the Promotional Video.

The following video showcases the 2008-2009 VRC-542 robot, "Deja Vu" and the 2007-2008 FTC-542 robot, "UBOT."

    As a member of this team, I must express my sincere regrets that there are those who would attempt to abuse the voting system, even if we are the ones who benefit. Please, do not try to artificially raise our score, even if you think we deserved it. I'd like to know how well we really did, without interference, so that we can improve next year.

    Our team believes everyone should be presented equally with voting and scoring. Voting a team up and the others down isn't right, because that means nobody will get their proper scores. Making multiple accounts just for this purpose is bad and spiteful. A false win is worse than no win at all. We'd rather pride ourselves that we tried, along with everyone else.

    Our team lives by the values of gracious professionalism which is why we created our VEX values. If you are voting other teams down, we do not consider this a favor as we do not want to win if it is not an earned victory.
