Program Inspection

When the judges inspect your robots program, template and master code. Do you need to bring a laptop to the competition for this or do they supply one?

Re: Program Inspection

you gotta bring one

i mean, you're gonna use that one for downloading programs to your robot anyway

oh and for the inspection they download your program onto something and it says the program is valid or something like that

Re: Program Inspection

Last year, at some tournaments they needed you to show them your laptop with the code. At others they just attached the judging laptop and were able to monitor your code from that. Either way, it is advised that you bring the computer you use to program your robot to the tournament.

Re: Program Inspection

I would highly advise you bring some sort of computer with the code on it, you WILL need it. As for checking the code, they should have a computer and it's a simple process of them plugging into your robot and you turning the robot on for a sec.

Re: Program Inspection

Find someone on your team that has a Windows laptop (windows because it is less of a hassle to get EasyC onto [I'm assuming you are using EasyC...], and it is also easier to download code to the robot from a windows machine). and transfer the license to their computer temporarily for the competition.
